Proto Ty-Flt Wrist Cuff Lanyard Retractable - Wire, Black T-WCRETBKWR-SBD

Proto's T-WCRETBKWR-SBD is a professional-grade Retractable Wrist Connection Strap featuring a Wire Cable tether, designed for high-durability Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) and dropped object prevention. This model integrates a retractable reel directly into a comfortable wrist anchor, ensuring that tools stay close to the user's hand while completely eliminating the snag hazards associated with loose lanyard slack. The use of a stainless steel wire cable provides maximum resistance to cuts and abrasions, making it ideal for heavy-duty industrial environments where sharp edges or high-friction tasks are common.
Key Features
Product Weight: This retractable assembly is engineered for a low profile, weighing approximately 0.25 pounds, which ensures it remains unobtrusive and comfortable during repetitive mechanical tasks.
Stainless Steel Wire Cable: Equipped with a high-strength, corrosion-resistant wire cable that offers superior durability against mechanical wear and sharp-edged hazards compared to standard nylon tethers.
Adjustable Hook-and-Loop Closure: The black wristband is constructed from durable industrial webbing with a secure hook-and-loop fastening system, providing a "one size fits most" adjustable and reliable fit.
Load Rating: Specifically engineered to safely secure hand tools weighing up to 1.5 pounds, making it perfect for essential items like small wrenches, pliers, and specialized electronic testers.
Automatic Retraction: The internal spring-loaded mechanism keeps the tether line taut at all times, automatically retracting the tool toward the wrist to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
FME Optimized: Provides a continuous, positive connection that prevents tools from falling into open systems, turbine decks, or sensitive machinery during critical maintenance operations.
